Let’s get Cookin’ – Dinner on the 15th!

This Beer Angel Cooking event is Full! 

If you like to cook, look for another opportunity in the Fall! We’ll be cooking with Beer and together provide a full-course meal to share with each other. Plan to attend 2 days, 1 week apart!

DAY 1 – Getting Started on May 8: ALREADY DONE!!

DETAILS: We will gather at Immersion Brewing on May 8 at 5:30 for a welcome Cookbook Overview while enjoying a yummy beverage. This is a free event for current Beer Angel Members only. To thank Immersion Brewing for allowing us to gather, we ask that you buy at least one beverage— they will honor your Beer Angel Membership card for $1 off your first Pint. They have a great menu also if you’d like to order food.

While we pass “the CRAFT BEER Cookbook” around, you will choose the recipe you want to make for our follow-up dinner the next week. This recipe selection on May 8 creates the Menu for the Dinner Party on May 15. There will be a good mix of both easy and more complicated recipes, so you don’t have to be a gourmet chef!

To be clear, this means that you must be committed to both dates as we will be counting on your dish one week later. If you know you cannot commit to both dates, then this event is not for you.

DAY 2 – Dinner Party on May 15  . 5:30pm  .  BYOB:

DETAILS: Our inaugural dinner will be held at Laurie Rice’s home (62944 Fresca St, Bend) north side of town off Empire. Arrival Time is 5:30. For the dinner at Laurie’s, please bring your own bevvies. There will be plenty of outlets for slow cookers. If you need to finish off a part of your dish that requires last minute touches, this will be possible! If you have any worries or concerns, please contact Kelly (organizer).

There will be a good mix of easy and more complicated recipes, so you don’t have to be a gourmet chef! We are hoping that if this event is successful, it could be on-going, perhaps quarterly. RSVP soon to be in the core group!

CAPACITY:   Minimum attendance for this event is 10 members, with a max of 16. NOTE: This event is limited to current Beer Angel Members only.
