Moonlight Snowshoe trip at Meissner Snow Park

SNOWSHOE PICKUP DETAILS:

Join us for a MEMBERS ONLY snowshoe trip during the full moon on February 17th. Pine Mountain Sports has offered the Beer Angels FREE snowshoe rentals again so that we can get back to our annual trek through the snow. Just bring your ID and grab a pair of snowshoes and then head across the street (westside of Safeway parking lot) to carpool up to Meissner Snow Park.  We will hike up to the shelter with a couple beer stops along the way. Once at the Shelter, we can enjoy some beers and snacks with new friends around the fire before heading back (about 1.5 mi each way).

NOTE:  If you already have your own snowshoes, we will just meet you at the parking lot!

DUE TO COVID:
Bring your own Beer for beer stops along the way— You can choose to share with other Angels if you like… Please be sure to bring your own reusable cup!

TIMING:

We will leave the parking lot around 5:45pm so we can have a great time AND still get back at a reasonable hour. We will walk ~1.5 miles to the shelter where we can warm up by the fire and consume snacks and beers before heading back.

BRING:

Bring your own Beer, Snacks & reusable Cup. You may choose to share depending on your own comfort level. Headlamp is helpful although the full moon should guide us! and snowshoes (get to Pine Mountain around 5:15-5:30 for your rental if you don’t have your own pair) Dress warm! Hopefully we will have lots of snow and good weather like we have in past years. This is a wonderful social event to meet new friends, try new beers and enjoy the great trail system we are fortunate to have access by living here in Central Oregon.
