Are you looking to improve your understanding and appreciation of how complex & nuanced, the modern hop varietals contribute to your favorite beers? Join us while we explore new hops that are making a difference in the craft brewing world.

Learn to properly examine and enjoy hop-forward beers, starting with visual presentation, then assessing the aromas, and finally appreciating the flavors with samples.

Brian Yaeger, a Certified Cicerone and Certified Cider Pro, will guide us with samplings and provide insight about these subtleties.

After the presentation we’ll have a Q&A to allow you to ask Brian questions and a Raffle— one of you lucky ladies will win Brian’s book, “Oregon Breweries”. We will socialize and enjoy a complimentary Beer together.

THIS IS AN EXCLUSIVE  EVENT FOR 2021 BEER ANGELS ONLY. Although space is limited, there is always a chance that lack of interest may still be cause for cancellation. Get your tickets soon so that we can actually make plans to pull this off.

This event will take place at the Tumalo State Campground Amphitheater. This venue is outdoors with ample area for us to spread out and social distance as needed. Please bring a mask to comply with current State Mandates.

Parking*** is across the street at the Tumalo Day Use area and requires a Parking Voucher that we will email to you as a courtesy and part of your fee.  Please print it and display on your dashboard. If you forget it, the fee to park is $5. Plan your arrival & attire accordingly to allow for the short walk over and possible ‘chill’ after sunset.

Directions: Once parked, carefully cross OB Riley Rd—
Upon entering the campground, veer to the right up the slope, veer right again, then follow it up & around until you see the Amphitheater on your right .

Swag hoodies will be for sale at half price in case you need another layer. It probably might be a good idea to bring a flashlight also in case we run late and it gets dark before we head back over.

So YES! This is also an Outdoor Adventure!!

• Snacks for munching and also to cleanse your palate between tastings
• A complimentary can of Beer or Cider (variety provided) so that we can socialize and chat following the presentation

• Parking Voucher – Print and display in your dashboard.

***If you forget your voucher, a $5 Parking fee will be required for the Day Use area. If you have a State Park pass, feel free to use that instead.
