Lace up your sneakers, and grab your beer angel friends! We’re putting together a Beer Angels team for the upcoming Bend Beer Run (actual event is on Saturday, August 31st). LEADING UP TO THE BEER RUN:
In preparation, we will be having 3 fun “training” run / walks, finishing with a beer at a local brewery. Everyone is welcome and all levels are encouraged to come out and join us whether or not you intend to actually join the final Bend Beer Run event.
THINGS TO KNOW:
• The Beer Angel Training Sessions are open to both walkers and runners. We welcome all fitness levels at these super-casual “training” events. Runners and walkers can go off in groups together at your own pace, and we’ll all meet up at the finish.
• If you don’t want to attend the actual Beer Run but want a little social, outdoor time with your Beer Angel friends— Join us for these training sessions anyway. We’d love to share a beer with you at the end. This is primarily a social event, these training sessions are just a way for us to get outside and hangout, catch up and enjoy some time in 3 of our special outdoor recreation areas in the area.
• Please RSVP so we don’t leave without you.
NOTE: If any of these dates end up being too hot / smoky for the walk, we can just meet up for the ‘recovery’ beers afterwards. Changes to the schedule due to heat or smoke will be updated and posted here.

GET MORE INFO ABOUT ACTUAL RACE DAY: Saturday – August 31, begins at Noon
The 5K (3.1 mile) race loops through Drake Park and along the Deschutes River. Participants sample local craft beers along the route and end up at the Little Woody event at the finish line.
