BEER RUN Training Session 2: Pilot Butte

Get your Beer Drinking muscles in shape as we “train” for the upcoming Bend Beer Run!

Lace up your sneakers, gals! We’re putting together a Beer Angels team for the upcoming Bend Beer Run (actual event is on Saturday, August 31st). We get a 15% discount so if you want to join us on Race Day– Click here to RSVP & get more info.

Meanwhile, we will be having 2  more fun “training” run / walks, finishing with beer at a local brewery, in preparation for the Bend Beer Run event (Find out more here). Runners and walkers can go off in groups together at your own pace, and we’ll all meet up at the finish.

NOTE:  If any of these dates end up being too hot / smoky for the walk, we can just meet up for the ‘recovery’ beers afterwards. Changes to the schedule due to heat or smoke will be updated and posted here.

These TRAINING events are free – we are just gathering for social time, and then will use our Beer Angels discounts afterwards at our partner locations.

Training Session 2:
Tuesday, June 18th, 6:00 pm
Pilot Butte / meet up at River’s Place afterwards

Training Session 3:
Tuesday, July 16th, 6:00 pm
Shevlin Park / meet up at Broken Top Bottle Shop afterwards

THINGS TO KNOW:

• The Beer Angel Training sessions are open to both walkers and runners. We welcome all fitness levels at these super-casual “training” events.

• Don’t want to attend the actual Beer Run but want a little social (and sun-filled) outdoor time with your Beer Angel peops? Join us for these training sessions anyway. We’d love to share a beer with you at the end. This is primarily a social event, and just a reason to get outside with friends.

GET MORE INFO ABOUT ACTUAL RACE DAY:  Saturday – August 31, begins at Noon

The 5K (3.1 mile) race loops through Drake Park and along the Deschutes River. Participants sample local craft beers along the route and end up at the Little Woody event at the finish line.
